Clipper Cordova 48 Semi displacement Passage Maker Just Listed

This is a 2011 Clipper Cordova 48. This boat is kept in meticulous condition with a focus on planned maintenance rather than waiting for items to fail (corrective maintenance) to ensure issue free boating. We have decided to go sailing in the Mediterranean, so this is a regretful sale. This boat is perfectly designed with a semi-displacement hull powered by a two Cummins QSB 5.9L 440HP turbo charged diesels providing for 8.5 knot (1680rpm) passage-making at 25 litres an hour (all up both engines) giving it a range of over 1000nm. Given the power and semi-displacement design of this boat, it can easily cruise to 18knots if you need to get anywhere in a hurry or beat the swell during a bar crossing. The boat is also fitted with 1100 litres of water storage which means you can be out for weeks, shower everyday, and still not be at risk of running out of water.

This boat is a two cabin and two bathroom model and comfortably sleeps six adults as the main saloon dining table easily converts to a double bed. Four independent air conditioners ensure the main cabin and sleeping quarters are kept cool. Bow and stern thrusters make berthing a breeze. There is a 12V/240V fridge freezer in the main saloon, a 12V fridge just outside the main saloon and another fridge/ice-maker on the flybridge that either runs on 240V or the inverter providing cooled drinks and food on the flybridge during passage. An electric BBQ is also fitted to the flybridge along with a sink and running water making the flybridge terrific for entertaining. We have had premium lounge pads (waterproof marine grade mattress covered with sunbrella material) made for the forecastle which makes a terrific place to lounge during long passages. The main galley is fitted with a four position induction cooktop and a new Bosch combination oven/microwave giving plenty of cooking options.

Recent aesthetic improvements include a new Highfield 3.2m Hypalon tender, all deckheads refurbished with marine grade vinyl, new strataglass clears (2021), all saloon upholstery replaced, all flybridge upholstery replaced, and new carpet throughout the boat. This boat is loved and to ensure successful stress-free trips. We "baselined" (major service and replacement of critical items) the boat upon buying it and we replace items and undertake preventative maintenance at reasonable timeframes. Upon purchase upgraded all interior and flybridge upholstery, installed new Raymarine hardware. Axiom Pro RVX in saloon, Axiom Pro to flybridge, new GPS RS150 GNSS, and new Raymarine backbone installed). New Raymarine Ray63 VHF radio. Raymarine AIS700 with it's own GPS transceiver, EPIRB, 3.2m Highfield Hypalon Tender with new 4 stroke engine, major saltwater engine service. All aftercoolers, heat exchangers, gear oil exchangers removed and cleaned with muratic acid. All OEM gasket and seal kits installed. Tube stacks in aftercoolers removed and serviced. Watsons Engineering removed engine shafts and propellors to check balance and alignment (no issues). New skeg bearings installed to both shafts. New PSS seals installed. New engine rawwater pumps with Sherwood P2708X pumps (precautionary). New element and condenser/pump installed in cockpit fridge. Plus many other upgrades.
