Makroro has been our home for the last 2 years, and we are very regrettably letting her go. An absolutely beautiful boat, built for blue water cruising.
We have spent the last 2 years cruising up the east coast, and she is very well set up and ready to go. Would be ideal for anyone looking to jump over to Indo.
Extensive upgrades done in the last 2 years include: New starter and house batteries, 2 new solar panels, new main sail, new head sail, new stay sail, Vespa AIS, Raymarine wind and depthsounder, new waeco fridge, Ayres wind vane mounted, new pelagic auto pilot, new custom inner spring mattress for saloon berth. Kiwi grip applied to decks, top sides painted, sail bags fitted.
Jotun antifouling paint was applied in march 2023. All new Tru Design through holes installed March 2022.
The boat has two 125L fuel tanks that are only 4 years old. Two 150L stainless steel water tanks. A composting Air-head toilet. A 2.6m Taka cat inflatable tender, with a 5hp Mercury outboard recently serviced.
She has a Perkins 4108 engine, 365hrs on it and serviced every 100hrs.
She's literally just ready to go. So many spares to list - as we said we would keep her if we could.
