Boussole is a robust, well maintained blue water cruiser racer. Just returned from the Spice Islands Darwin Ambon Yacht Race where she performed admirably in all conditions. Set up and ready to go on another trip, to race around the harbour or to just enjoy the pleasures of sailing. As my first yacht she has been the perfect craft to learn the art of sailing as well as a comfortable live aboard. It's time now for me to upgrade.
She was meticulously prepared for the Ambon race, including insurance survey, Australian Sailing Category 3 equipment audit, antifoul, new house batteries, new start battery, b&g wind instrument, nmea2000 backbone integrating sonar, Vulcan 9 chartplotter, AIS. New icom dsc radio, new compass. Yanmar 3ym30 engine, 1200 hours. Mixing elbow just replaced. Aries windvane with st1000 autopilot works a treat. Achillies Tender with brand new honda 2.3hp outboard.
