The Fareast 28 is a delight to sail in light air, easily sailing close to windspeed, offering a lot of fun even when sailed shorthanded. And when the breeze picks up you'll effortlessly hop on the plane. It's a real sailors boat, just pure fun!

Build quality is high, hull, deck and all parts are vacuum infused Vinylester foam sandwich. Keel fin and rudder are Carbon, Epoxy infused in Aluminium moulds. Deck hardware from Harken, Spinlock and Selden rigging.

The design of the Fareast 28R builds on the latest race yachts technologie. The hull has soft chines contributing to a high form stability and the carbon keel fin with lead bulb provides the best possible righting moment. Weight and wetted surface are kept to an absolute minimum. The Fareast 28R is an ISAF approved One Design class. With over 600 sold worldwide class racing is taking off in many countries. We had our own OD start at Sydney Harbour Regatta 2023. Australian Nationals have been sailed on regular basis and international Championships can be sailed in Europe and Asia.
