Enchantress, an Aphrodite 42 Najad is a proven Blue Water yacht with over 60K miles over the past 15 years. It was last surveyed in 2019 (available) and is fully ready for its' next adventure. It is priced for a quick sale and is a unique opportunity to own a lovely Swedish yacht.

The Aphrodite 42 was built in 1989 on the Swedish Island alongside Najad, her sister yard, and other famous boat yards such as Halberg Rassy, Malo etc. They are all renowned for being well built sturdy boats. She was setup from the start as an ocean going yacht with 550L of diesel tankage and 500L of water storage. The current owners have added many improvements that enhance both the ocean going capabilities and convenience for short-handed sailing and live aboard comforts. These include windvane steering, watermaker, electric winches, hard bimini, electric toilet, solar arch with dinghy davits, 6 solar panels & wind generator.

She has been well looked after, with regular equipment upgrades and major potential issues with older boats have been tackled, such as removing the old teak deck and refurbishing the deck with tread-master panels. Over the past year it has had the engine overhauled and refurbished, new domestic and engine batteries etc. The current owners have recently done extensive sea trials including sailing up to Thailand and back.

She has a large saloon seating area with a fold up dining table, and 8 people can easily be seated here. The saloon seats/bunks are set up with lee cloths and are used as sea berths during offshore passages. There is a master double cabin at the stern with an en-suite heads. The original shower is currently used for storage and for housing the large battery bank. The double focstle cabin is also currently used for storage. The forward heads is fitted with a modern electric toilet.

The cockpit is very sheltered and protected with a fixed doghouse, which gives excellent visibility through toughened glass windows, with the middle one fully opening for great ventilation. There is also a hard bimini for further protection and solar panel support. All lines lead back to the cockpit for easy short-handed sailing. The 4 main cockpit winches are all electric to make headsail reefing quick and easy. There are twin headsails, (trade wind setup), which gives a very efficient and safe down-wind rig. The mainsail is in-mast furling which also makes short-handed sailing easy.

She will make a comfortable safe ocean going, live-aboard cruising vessel, but will also be ideal for cruising in the tropics.
