46' Ketch Rigged Motor Cruiser

Nord Sjarna has been known to Anchorline from the time that her keel was laid at the Gold Coast and we have sold her to and for the majority of her owners. Built for the Murphy family by Kevin Mackenzie in the mid 1970's, Nord Sjarna has cruised extensively over the years along the Queensland Coast, proving to be reliable, economical and a great cruiser for growing boating family.

Nord Sjarna is unique to many of the Moreton Bay cruisers that have been built in Queensland. Most of these classic Bridgedeck vessels were built for blokes, with single berths and very few creature comforts. Nord Sjarna however was designed and built for cruising with family and friends. She features a private aft cabin with a double berth and an ensuite and a guest's cabin forward of the saloon with four berths and a toilet and shower. The galley, saloon and helm are all on the main deck. Port and starboard side deck doors and large opening windows make this space light and airy, a great spot to be at anchor or underway. Recently installed 12v refrigeration, gas appliances and solar panels (4) reduces the need for running the generator and instead enjoy the peace and quiet of your anchorage.

Powered by a 6LW Gardner and equipped with a Side-Power bow thruster, power boat cruising doesn't get much cheaper than onboard Nord Sjarna. 8-10 litres per hour at 1250rpm gives a range of over 1,200nm. She's also fitted with a ketch rig, to provide a bit more comfort when cruising in a swell.
