Truly one of the most seaworthy designs ever produced in Australia, the Bertram 42' also offers one of the best internal layouts with fantastic accommodation. The large master cabin is complete with its own bathroom with a separate shower and the forward V-Berth has a double bed and two oversized single beds. There is also another double bed and a single bunk in the spacious saloon which also features a dinette and openable windows all round for great ventilation. The Teak laid cockpit is a massive 108 square feet so you won't get in each others way when fishing or entertaining. Onboard systems including U-Tec refrigeration, airconditioning and Miele kitchen appliances are powered by an ONAN generator. Other notable features include a deck crane on the fore-deck and a davit on the cockpit awning so you can have two tenders onboard. The twin Detroit diesels provide super smooth cruising and are quiet with no vibration. This vessel was noticeably silky smooth during our test run.
