We are very pleased to offer on the market 'EQUINOX', a custom designed 24m Bluewater Fast Cruiser, built by the reputed builders Cook Bros in Christchurch, NZ. She is extremely strong and lightweight, being built from carbon fibre, kevlar and a divinycell foam core. She is NZ Flagged + Taxed Paid, and set up for Cat1 offshore sailing.

The current owner, a very experienced yachtsman (this boat is the 20th he has built and he absolutely adores it) bought 'EQUINOX' uncompleted in 2013, sailed to Thailand, improved the interior design and commissioned her in 2016. He and his partner have lived aboard her for a number of years and with her unique open plan layout, they have set her up to be their "apartment on the sea".

She is a very serious live aboard vessel configured for circumnavigation in absolute style and comfort. The sleek and modern styling hull led to 'EQUINOX' being recorded as the 4th fastest monohull passage to Fiji (4 days & 18hrs) by the RNZYS, therefore easily fast enough to outrun weather events.

With the design and technology aboard, 'EQUINOX' can be sailed effortlessly by 2 people, a shallow draft (2.44m) allowing her access to locations not ordinarily afforded to vessels of this length.

With 1800L of fuel and 1000L of water, this exceptional vessel allows you to be completely independent. The solar system onboard has been designed to charge your batteries, run the fridge and the freezers, run the watermaker and all the electronics. Capable of spending a very long time without provisioning, you could be isolated for months on a paradise spot and the only thing you might need is sharing with locals for fresh fruits and vegetables. Everything else is already onboard 'EQUINOX'!

Powered with a strong and reliable YANMAR 127HP, you could motor 2000nm at 8.5kt if needed.

The 3 double cabins, 2 heads layout offer plenty of room for friends or family. The galley on starboard midship is brilliantly designed and very functional.
