Alexander Marine are pleased to present the immensely capable 2001 New Westcoaster Expedition Skylounge 82' Motor Yacht 'Georgia' to the market as central agents. Having explored Indonesia, circumnavigated Australia twice and frequented the Kimberley region, 'Georgia' is an accomplished expedition vessel for any ocean adventure. Featuring a comfortable onboard living experience, she is an ideal motor yacht for both short and long-distance travel.

Looking for an exciting adventure on the water? The New Westcoaster Expedition Skylounge 82 Motor Yacht 'Georgia' is now available for sale, along with an irresistible opportunity upon purchase.

The new owner will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join the current owner on their upcoming trip to the stunning Kimberley region in Northwest Australia. During the trip, they will provide training on the operation of the boat, allowing you to navigate these waters with a highly experienced crew all the while enjoying the breathtaking scenery to the fullest.

'Georgia' was commissioned by a prominent West Australian motor yacht enthusiast, and whilst never chartered or commercially registered, she was built to the applicable survey standards of that time. She has been enjoyed as a private expedition vessel by her current long-term owner. 'Georgia' promises her next owner more unforgettable expeditions.

The vessel is currently owned by her second owner who acquired her in 2008 with only 450 engine hours. 'Georgia' has been kept modern and in meticulous condition under the management of a fulltime professional skipper and experienced shipwright who oversaw a respray of the vessel and the installation of new teak decks in 2018.

When stepping aboard 'Georgia', guests will instantly notice the sheer amount of outdoor living space and her stunning American cherrywood interior. The lower deck offers plenty of entertainment possibilities boasting a spacious sun lounge, a cocktail bar with Queensland burl timer inlay complete with refrigerator and icemaker, and a large dining table and chairs.

Sheltered by the top deck, the lower deck is an ideal spot for hosting guests and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle. Easy and safe access to the large teak swim platform is via four wide teak steps. After a swim, dry off on the huge sun lounge where you can laze back and read your favourite book, glancing up to take in the magnificent views of your latest anchorage. This area is conveniently fitted with a day head and a laundrette is hidden from view behind the bar, housing a Miele Professional washer and separate dryer.

Moving forward through the sliding saloon door to port-side is an open plan U-shaped galley overlooking the main saloon. This large chef's galley has been maintained to a very high standard and is complemented by practical yet classic stainless steel double sinks and bench space.

The galley also features one of two walk-in cool rooms on the vessel, European appliances, a commercial-grade oven, gas and electric hotplates with overhead stainless steel rangehood, a dishwasher, microwave and a huge pantry. The second walk-in cool room is located near the forward deck hatch, which also converts to a freezer. There is no shortage of storage for provisions onboard 'Georgia', perfect for long distance expeditions.

Adjacent to the galley is a curved white lounge framing two high gloss dining tables surrounded by large windows which extend down into the main saloon flooding the area with an abundance of natural light. Guests can opt for an indoor dining experience or take pleasure in the alfresco setting of the lower deck.

The classic design of the main saloon will always remain fashionable. A freestanding lounge suite provides the flexibility to personalise the area to suit your unique style. Relax on your lounge in front of the home entertainment unit with Sony TV, and Pioneer stereo sound system. The saloon boasts an incredible amount of cabinet space. From this area, accommodation is accessed and steps lead up to the helm station and upper deck.

Furtherest aft, the full beam master suite features a king-sized island bed with an impressive amount of space on either side. The cabin offers built in wardrobes, a desk, an entertainment unit and large ensuite bathroom. You have to remind yourself that you are actually onboard a boat!

Guest accommodation consists of two adjacent double bunk cabins to port and starboard, each with their own ensuite. Four crew members can comfortably sleep in the forward V configuration.

The elevated helm station on 'Georgia's' upper deck provides the person in charge of the vessel with unobstructed views which are enhanced by a selection of professional navigation equipment including Furuno, Garmin, Sea Map Charting System and Robertson Autopilot. A Keypower hydraulic bow thruster adds to the experience in the captain's chair, enhancing maneuverability. The wheelhouse provides a comfortable environment featuring a quality fold-out sofa, a desk and fridge for cool refreshments while underway.

Stepping out onto the upper deck is space for the Palfinger one-tonne hydraulic deck crane and tender cradle, leaving plenty of room for another entertaining area to dance the night away under the stars. The area is fitted with an external galley housing a Zanussi coal and gas stainless steel BBQ - perfect for hosting summer afternoons onboard.

Access to the engine room is via the stern swing door. A pair of MTU 2000 series 1350HP V12's provide economical long-range cruising at 12 knots. Pedal to the metal and this vessel will easily manage a comfortable 17-18 knots. Cummins 65kVA and Mase 33.7kVA generators power the vessel's systems including six Cruise Air units keeping the cabins cool when visiting more humid destinations. The primary walk-in freezer is located below deck in the well-appointed workshop area. Numerous spares come with the sale of the vessel including an extra gearbox.

If you are looking for a true bluewater cruiser where space and comfort are uncompromised then we invite you to join us onboard 'Georgia' to gain a sense of the true essence of this expedition motor yacht.
