The normally aspirated 6-cylinder diesel has only done a little over 100 hours since a full rebuild and the entire engine bay is immaculate.

As you would expect there is great visibility from the helm station, aft of which is the saloon dinette. Stepping down forward to starboard is the galley, to port the large head, with a v-berth forward.

The owners' cabin is huge with access to the fully covered aft cockpit. There is lots of deck space for water toys, a strong davit system and swim platform for easy boarding.

This vessel has a wonderful history having been the mail boat in Marlborough Sounds New Zealand from its launch in 1958 and was very well known having operated in all three sounds. It had also been used as a way for people to explore the area as much as for its mail deliveries. There are historic documents available with the vessel, including a diary from original owner Fred Orchard and early photos and memorabilia.
