Its not often a steel Roberts comes on the market that truly has the 'wow' factor and this Roberts offshore 38 certainly does. The hull was professionally built, strengthened and outfitted to an extremely high standard and presents beautifully.

Built from mild steel below water line 6mm and the upper structure 4mm painted with a high epoxy non slip on the deck, white polyurethane on the topsides. This design is perfect for offshore cruising ketch rigged with centre cockpit, great layout in the saloon and aft double cabin. The fitout is professional and modern and there is plenty of cupboard and fridge space for extended time at sea. Powered by a Thorny Croft 4 cylinder 1800CC 48hp Diesel engine with 3 to 1 gearbox ratio this only 98 hours and quite possibly the cleanest engine room we have ever seen, there no signs of corrosion in any of the bilges or fittings.

This yacht has been very well thought out with easy access to all important areas, she has dive tank storage under floor, a day tank, easily accessible electrics and internal strengthening of chain pates etc. On deck things to note ar how all tracks are fitted to welded backing plates eliminating through hull fittings and bolts thus eliminating corrosion in these areas. The helm station has full engine controls and all sheets and halyard lead back to the cockpit making her a true solo or short handed blue water cruiser.

Inspections are highly recommend as Roberts yachts of this standard do not come to market very often, rigging is still current and has many years left so this boat is hitting the market in sail away condition in every aspect. Head height 6'2" in saloon - Aft cabin 5'10"
