Cordelia was launched in Japan in 1985 and used as a training vessel for research. She has since been used locally and her current MSA Survey status is on hold.

Powered by a low speed 600HP Niigata motor with approx. 2000 hrs on re-build driving a variable pitch propeller via shaft producing an economical cruise of 10kn with max of 14kn. She has 20,000Litres of fuel capacity allowing Trans-Tasman crossings with ease.

She has two 60KVa Yanmar Generators, with her recent electrical upgrade of Solar and battery she carries ample on-board power for extended cruising.
