The Nautitech Open 40 features a four-cabin layout ideal for families. Alternatively, the layout is a good match for couples and families who would like to "share a share". With accommodation for eight, there is no shortage of room for entertaining and adventuring with family and friends.

Like most modern catamarans, she features a galley-up design with excellent forward visibility. The expansive open cockpit is ideal for summer days at Moreton Island and cruising the Whitsundays during the winter.

The Nautitech brand is well regarded for its sailing performance with a low boom to increase mainsail area, outboard helm positions and a light displacement of just 8500kg. She is complemented with a flexible and comprehensive sail inventory of main, jib, Code 0, screecher and asymmetrical spinnaker.

Comfort and luxury are included with air-conditioning, two heads and showers, LED and underwater lighting, inverter, lithium batteries, solar panels and comprehensive electronics. She also features a Stella watermaker for extended cruising. The upgraded Volvo 40HP engines power the Open 40 for easy cruising under motor.
