2008 Grainger Raider catamaran built by Lightwave Yachts now for sale exclusively with DBY Boat sales.
Quite a number of this popular design have been built.
She is capable of 25 knots of boat speed off wind and a comfortable 12 knots upwind make her a line honours mono thrashing machine.
2022 4 stroke Tohatsu with long shaft engine when motoring.
So, if you want to start enjoying being home early this is the boat.
I myself own one and just love it, sailing 2 to 3 times a week mostly 2 handed.
Being so light you don't need to put up much sail to go fast so very easy to work this boat.
But more than just an easily sailed racer she is so much fun to cruise. Perfect for upriver with family with inside berths for 4 with loads more room on the trampoline.
My Raider was cruised by a family of 4 through the Whitsundays and then I sailed her down to Sydney exploring all the inland waterways where the shallow draft after lifting centreboards and rudders was very handy. With everything up she draws only 30cm.
Great for beaching.
This one is special with extra tall rig (2021).
