Grainger Essential 8

It's not often that a boat like Bare Essentials comes up on the market. Foam sandwich construction with Kevlar inside skin and carbon outside skin, Carbon beams and Foil assisted. Capable of reaching 26 knots. Starting life as a bare but comfortable Essential 8 from the industry leading design desk of Tony Grainger, this work of art was originally assembled lovingly by the racing multihull guru Gordon Myers.
The floats have been increased in volume for extra speed AND safety, curved foils (optional for each sailing day) are in the floats for a heap of extra speed, and the canting, rotating carbon mast is a work of art that other sailors drool over. Float rudders complete the safe and fast package, so even if you try and emulate some of the pictures of this rocket in full flight mode, you will still have a leeward rudder steering you in the right direction.
Although "Bare" inside, all the bones are there for a comfortable medium size cruising boat that can be folded and trailed legally all over the country to go exploring. Simply reef down or just unfurl the screecher and glide along relaxing on the net. The perfect boat for that racing person who also needs family time cruising.
